am sure that some of them were blamed banks for not enabling good security features. But Yes!!! Now there is an excellent news from few banks. Recently I called two banks to understand the best practice to use my card on internet transaction. The call really gave some amazing fresh informations.

Tip 1
One of the bank told me that we can reduce our card limit by calling to call centre to a lower temp limit. So even if somebody steal your physical card, they won’t be able to use the full value limit of the card either on swiping transactions or on internet buy. Whenever we want to increase the card value, it is just a call to Call Center and within 24 hours increased card limit will get updated.

While using on internet buy, we can give the Virtual card details instead of original physical card. If a cyber hacker steals the information through internet, it will help them to only loot the balance money of only virtual card. So you need to be careful to create virtual card with required small amount. It is just a 30 sec effort to create a Virtual card. The virtual card will automatically expire after 24 hours.
