is nice to experience the fast billing by using a reader machine while on your shopping,
but did you
notice of losing your money at times. I caught this couple of times while on billing and one time after billing also. This issue happens in big shopping malls and super markets where more number of billing counters are available.

can it happen???
Most
of the time the stock list with shoppers will be available with different
prices. You would have taken a product with lower price, but when the billing
counter boy read it with reader machine, computer will display the product with
different rates and he may choose the one which might be with higher price. I
never felt anybody did it purposefully, but if it happens, then you will lose
your money, if you catch it after billing, then you will lose time to get your

I
started verifying this after I noticed one time the billed amount was lower
than the print price of a product I bought. Actually I saw the same priced
packet also there, which was a very old stock. The vendor lost Rs. 30 in my
single bill itself. Hence I started thinking about the same in the other way..
So many times I noticed from different shoppers, corrected while billing itself
and recently I found this issue after billing, then ran around for get the
money back. But it was a tedious time consuming process to get the money back…
So take care while billing!!!!

yes this happend to me also in one of the biggest shop in bangalore, but i went back to collect the wrong bill amount, simply waste of time, fuel, so its better to verify at the counter itself.

True.. it happens many a times.. Need to be very careful in the bill counters and get it clarified at the same time.
There is a new mall opened last month in my area, so many people buy lots due to heavy discount price as the shop is new, but i kept remembering old mistakes of computer billing wrong amount billed to me, so this time before billing i asked how much discount i am getting and then they promptly accept mistake which was about to happen and they gave me the item with discount, if i wouldnt have gone through this blog then i would have lost the discount and ended up in paying mrp which the attraction said was heavy discount.
