Bargaining - New Tips!!!

How to do a good bargaining??? Most of us will get a quick answer to start bargaining from the half
rate. Anyway, I am not here to blog about the idea frequently used. But I want to share two ideas which I have experienced in shops whom are not at all ready to reduce price. Remember again, I am not talking about bargain ready shops..
Once you identified your product, the method which surely can be used for those over priced shops which are not at all ready to bargain is to just ask a simple question. “What is the final price?” You won’t believe, even I got shocked in many shops which are well known for no bargaining. I got more shocked while getting discounts, after noticed that other customers paid full value as it is sure that bargain will not work there. After showing a confident body language of not much interested due to the over price, if we ask this question, the shopper will have a feel that if he reduce the price little,  the deal will be closed. But still if you feel that you have not got a reasonable pricing, then the option is to tell reasonable price which you felt. Surely the answer will be a no from the merchant. But here you have an opportunity to ask one more final price. In most of the cases I could close it within 75 to 80% of the price.

Utilize the latest blogs from “Tips” and “GroupBuy”, once two weeks.

Another method which can be used to those overpriced shops, but are having very less mentality to reduce price, is to start bargaining from half rate. The first and second answer will be no to rate reduction.. just give another rate of around 55 - 60%. Here if there is a positive body language from the merchant, wait and see to get a price from merchant. Most probably it will be of 90 - 95% of what he told first. If you feel that he will not reduce further, then use the next sentence that “ Ok.. let’s come to middle of both of us” and then close it with 70 – 75% of first rate told… This worked many times.

When you are at no bargain shops, don’t bargain when other customers are in front of merchant. While on the discussion, if a customer comes, just stop and stay back, which will give a confidence to merchant that you are not spoiling his other customers, even actually we should not do the same. Because bargain is not actually done by the merchant and he is not interested to make a feel of bargain to other customers. But in the case of bargain ready shops, you can bargain without minding whom are around you and you may get it even from 40 – 60% rate from the first rate told by the merchant.

Bargaining should do only on those shops which are overpriced.  I will not suggest to do bargain on those shops, whom are not over priced, but still business is not there due to locality issue or some other reasons. If you bargain, he may reduce the price to have a sale to run at least his daily expenses. But I strongly believe that the gain made like that way will not be helpful, sometimes it will be harmful. It’s a natures truth!!!

So enjoy the savings!!!
