The menu bar
buttons of Outlook and Office in the recent releases are unnecessarily
consuming 10%
of viewable space from the display. When we use office
applications, it is a real disturbance. We actually don’t need all
the menu buttons for our daily work. So how to ensure that regular using
buttons are available for single click even after getting the maximum viewable
space???
You can do
this very easily. Next time onwards, when you want to click on any button, Eg:
Font Color button, “right click” on the font color button (1) and click on “Add to Quick Access Tool Bar” (**). This will add
the icon to Top Bar (2) of your application as shown in the snap.
Now hide the complete button
menu by clicking on “Minimize the Ribbon” as shown in the snap, by again right
clicking on any of the button (3). So now onwards, click on the icon from top bar
whenever you want to change the font color. If you need to use
any button which is not there in top bar, just click on Menu Name (4) and then follow the steps No (1) only. Same way, you can do for Word, Excel Apps also..
A simple tip
right??? Usually everybody is scrolling up and down on every docs due to less
viewable space. Remember, each scrolling requires time and effort to click and
scroll, which can be reduced with this one time activity tip.
The Top Bar icons
shown in the snap are the regularly using icons for my Outlook. So I
have added only these buttons. This can be modified when ever needed. So you also enjoy!!!
