Summer is
reaching to the peak stage, daytime is almost manageable inside the home, but
by
evening, it is terrible due to the hot air inside, even after the windows
are open. And for those, having mosquito nets, the air circulation will be
very slow.
For the past
few days, I have noticed that between 7 PM – 11.30 PM , outside the house it is really cool, but inside the home it is terribly hot. As the hot air will be on top side
of the room, even ceiling fan will be with no use. Need to say that we are actually inside in an oven, frying ourselves because
the hot air is just rotating inside the room when we switch on the ceiling
or table fan. So what is next???
Let me give
small idea which I have used when I was staying at Kochi and at Bangalore. It’s
none other than a small table fan kept at the open window turning to the room
itself, not to outside. As per my experience it has 3 times better fresh cooling than
using an exhaust fan, when it is kept on the bottom side of window.
So don’t spend
money for a new exhaust fan. Just use the table fan keeping near to window instead of
simply keeping on the corner table, it will suck the fresh cool air to the room triple
fast, from outside. If you have a mosquito net on window, just keep adjacent to the net and switch on the table fan.
